Open Orchestras

Open Orchestras supports Music Education Hubs, arts organisations and schools to create orchestras that are accessible to young disabled people.  The Plymouth Open Orchestras provide SEN/Disabled young people with opportunities to play in an ensemble and to perform, making use of a new generation of accessible musical instruments tailored to suit their needs.

The project is run under the guidance of the Open School Orchestras (OSO), which is a national movement designed to support Music Education Hubs and is underpinned by high quality training and support.  PMEH is supporting Woodlands School and Cann Bridge School.
