About Us
We inspire children and young people to develop a life-long enjoyment of music. We promote the positive and enjoyable aspects of musical and cultural engagement. We work with a partnership of local, regional and national organisations – working together to build an inspiring and inclusive programme of music making.
Our mission is to create opportunities for all children to engage with a diverse musical culture, enabling lasting participation in and enjoyment of music. Through music we will make a positive impact on children’s lives and the communities in which they live.
Plymouth Music Education Hub (PMEH) comprises a wide range of music organisations working in partnership to provide high quality music education for the children and young people of Plymouth. Our hub, led by Plymouth Youth Music Service (PYMS), currently engages over 4000 children and young people in weekly musical activities across the city.
