Plymouth Youth Concert Band perform a stunning 10th Anniversary Concert

Plymouth Youth Concert Band put on  a stunning concert on Saturday 11th April at Plymouth Guildhall. A band of over 50 current and former members of the band provided a brilliant evening of music in a programme ranging from Coldplay to Blues Brothers and which included bagpipes, trumpet and tuba solos.  The band was conducted by the Plymouth Youth Music Service’s Leadership Associate, Music, Barrie Mills, who founded the band in 2005. They produced a bright, full sound with lots of light and shade.  Given that they had only rehearsed together for a day, the result was a very polished performance which had the audience in raptures.
