Musicality
Musicality gives young musicians from across Plymouth a chance to celebrate their love of music at the city’s annual youth ensembles concerts. Musicians from all of Plymouth Youth Music Service’s city-wide ensembles and some partner organisations and schools all have the opportunity to perform.
Held annually at Plymouth Pavilions since 2016, in front of large audiences, each event features two concerts – one in the afternoon and one in the evening. This allows up to 400 young people the chance to perform each year. Featuring choirs, concert bands, orchestral, rock groups, steel bands, big bands and more.
Musicality 2022
After a 2 year break because of the pandemic, a scaled back version of Musicality was held in 2022 at Marjon University’s Quad Theatre. There were workshops during the day and in the evening performances from Coop Big Band, Plymouth Youth Concert Band, Soundhouse Brass Band and The Legacy Choir.
